post a pic of the TIGE 340hp motor

Me again, anyone have pic of the 340 hp motor.
I am about 1000 miles from the nearest dealer so I am unable to see what it looks like-thanx!

Interesting. I have the 340 in a 2005 22V and the engine is a darker color. A dark gray rather than the silver gray.

The early 2005 engines were silver like the 2004's and the later 2005's are the dark gray color.

The '03, '04 and early '05 MarinePower engines are light grey or silver in color. A mid-year change to a darker color was made in '05 so that after a few hours or couple of years of use, the motor will still look nicer. The lighter color shows grease, marks, rust spots, etc. I heard that it was strictly done for looks- particullarly over time. Their next effort will be to get some better paint on the Walter V-drive. It shows a little rust at bolts and thru the blue even when brand new. There is nothing wrong with it, people just expect a nicer appearance when spending $50k or more.
