HELP URGENT URGENT [Archive]

Just pulled out to go to lake and saw tire smoking. Pulled over and top of the front trailer tire is rubbing on fendor. After inspcetion noticed my front torsion axle is rotated up causing rhe rubbing. How to fix???? Hope the weekend at lake is not toast.

Please post advice, family is waiting to go now..........

Not to sound stupid, but are you sure it's torsion and not leaf? If it's torsion, it's broke. Take tire off and roll on if it's not too far to the lake.

Or get a crow bar and bent the fender out more so it is not touching

Maybe you could just take the fender off completely to get to the lake?
