Tige Tower Lights

When I purchased my new 2008 22VE, I also had the Tige tower rack and lights installed. Having just had a chance to use them, they suck. They light up the boat like a sun but do not project out into the water at all. It looks like they are a wide spectrum and do not beam outwards. Is there a different lightbulb or lens I can get? Might I have to purchase entirely new lights to get projection onto the water. Thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

Nope, sorry! Tower lights, in general, are a waste of money IMO, as watersports after dark are illegal on most any inland w body of water except a private lake. They're cool if ay like bling. I dont know of any aftermarket lights that project out like a spot light, as it is actually more dangerous to run with them on, then off. Good luck.

x2 .... about any type of tower lights are pointless. The only thing I can see them good for is surfing. Besides....I like to not attract the mosquitos! LOL

If you check with your local authorities you will probably find out that it is also illegal to run your lights at night anyways and in many states it illegal to just have the covers off.

I think they are good for cleaning out the boat after dark. That is about it. And they look cool.
